A new Economy and Environment department headed by Anne ÉPAULARD.
The members of the OFCE Council meeting in plenary session on September 27 announce the creation of a new department: The Economy and Environment department.
Faced with climate change, the OFCE has created a new department to respond to the new challenges of our economies.
It is directed by Anne ÉPAULARD, Professor of economics at Paris Dauphine University.
The department will develop analytical tools for the evaluation of environmental and energy policy and
inform the French and European public debate on the transition to a low-carbon economy.
The department already has the ThreeME model developed since 2008 with ADEME and used to advise governments,
including France, Indonesia, Mexico and Tunisia.
Frédéric Reynes, currently a researcher at NEO - Netherlands Economic Observatory, will join the team as deputy director of the Economy and Environment department in January 2024.
